Gilgo Beach Murders: Primetime ID Special Puts Spotlight On Case

A primetime TV special says it will shed new light on the Gilgo Beach serial murders case and suspect Rex Heuermann, who sits behind bars charged with the killings of three women on Long Island and who is the prime suspect in a fourth murder.

ID Special Report: The Long Island Serial Killer premieres on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 8 p.m. on ID (Investigation Discovery channel) and will then be available on-demand.

The 59-year-old Heuermann resided with his wife and two children at the Massapequa Park home where he grew up at the time of his arrest last month.
